Each door of cars contains many plastic components, mainly interior trims and handles. Those plastic components in automobile doors are indispensable to the door system. They mainly play a supporting, decorating, cushioning and filling role on the door. These parts are injection moulded with plastic moulds.

The door frames, door trim panels, door interiors and door handles,  they are important components in a car door system. They are made of plastic through injection molding.

The door posts, handles, door lock/open system, glass window lifting and induction devices are installed on the interior panel substrate, which requires good strength and creep resistance. In general, PP + LGF30 material is used for injection moulding.

The addition of LGF30 fibers improves the mechanical properties of the matrix and meets the requirements in this respect. There are grooves and holes on the interior matrix for wiring and fixing other components, so the structure is complex, which brings some difficulties to the injection molding production.

PP+LGF30 plastics as the base of car door has the advantages of light weight and good seismic resistance than metal. Doors vary according to the types and styles of automobiles. Generally, automobiles have four front and rear doors, so the doors of each model need to be made several sets of moulds for the doors of these positions at the same time. It’s also a big expense.
